Bhedaghat - The Nature's Artistry
A showcase of great artistry of nature near Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh, a well known place for its spectacular and beautiful waterfall, #BHEDAGHAT, is also famous for its striking marble rocks which are 100 ft. high, which looks more beautiful when sunlight falls on these marble white rocks.
The fascinating marble rocks are located on both side of Narmada river which flows gently via these high marbles and after a short distance the forceful river falls down a cliff to form #Dhuandhar falls, the waterfall is named after the foggy presence of water falling from the rocks with extreme force.
#Bandar kudni – a pretty interesting place to visit. It has been named so just because of the marble mountains that are so close to each other that a monkey can easily jump from one to another.
#Chausath yogini temple which stands on the hillock, that can be reached through a series of 150 steps. It is believed that this is a dwelling place for the great goddess and her female attendants and elf (yogins). From this hillock one can see a spectacular view of the marble rocks and dhuandhar falls as well.
Apart from its fascinating waterfalls, marble rock sites and Chausath yogini temple, Bhedaghat is also famous for marble art crafts and you can also find a local market here called ‘The Soapstone’.
